Job Description

Our equipment consists of commercial straight stitch machines and automated machines. The automated machines sew an 'x' when the machine is activated. Commercial sewing machines are significantly different than home sewing machines. Although the concept is the same, commercial sewing machines are much faster and take a little time to get used to.

The qualified candidate will work on either the straight stitch machines AND/or the automated machines. Both jobs require an idividual who is detail oriented. Additionally, each process requires numerous steps. Multi-tasking and being able to follow and remember numerous processes are a must.

We are the largest manufacturer of pet collars, leashes, and harnesses in the world for the number of types and styles of products we make. All of our products are made in Michigan. We do not outsource to China or overseas. Approximately 90% of all pet products are currently manufactured overseas. Our products are sold at pet boutiques and stores all over the world.

Considerations
-=-=-=-=-=
As we are a manufacturer of pet products, our employees are permitted to bring their dogs to work. There are approximately 3-5 dogs at the facility every day. If you have allergies or a fear of large to small dogs, please consider carefully before applying.

We currently, hold (2) patents and several trademarks. As such all employees are required to sign a non-compete and confidentialty agreement.

Environment

We enjoy a friendly relaxed environment. Work dress is comfortable and casual.

Work Hours
=-=-=-=-=-
We are open Mon to Fri from 8:30 am to 6pm. Work hours are extremely flexible to your schedule. Employees get to select what hours they are able to work each week.

Work Hours are either part-time to full-time 10-20 hours or 36-40 hours per week.
